Thanks to our TIP members for braving the cold last Tuesday on the corner of Merrill and W. Towne St. first thing in the morning.
Thank you to all of the community members who honked, waved, and smiled to share in our celebration.

As Mrs. Lynn observed when students are drawing full bodies anything goes. Love the creativity.

Spring has sprung at WMS! Friendly reminder, tomorrow is an early out! Students are dismissed at 1:45.
Spring Break begins on Thursday! We'll see students back at school on Tuesday! Enjoy your vacation.

The 6th-graders art projects have turned out fantastic. The students persevered through the process for these works of art! Hard work and a positive mind set go far!

A day in the life...What song comes to your head?

What teacher has this sign in her classroom?

It was pickling day yesterday. Ah, the fresh smell of brine! Mrs. Tennant's students were hard at work making yummy pickles!

Mr. Hopfauf and Mr. Easton facilitated a tower-building contest. Is this just play? No way! In the process, students applied the knowledge and skills used to being in the workforce. Also, students reflected on the process and their needs if they were to do it again!

Check it out! WMS Second Annual STEM Family Night! All are welcome. You don't want to miss it!

Whatcha Reading Wednesday!
Look at the enthusiasm! These 6th graders can't contain themselves!

You never know what you'll see in a "day in the life"...

Mrs. Schaaf's classes have been hard at work showing their creativity, unique skills, and interacting with the cultures they study. Check out the soap carvings in action!

To our amazing WMS paraeducators...

Mrs. Stickel's ELA classes to their learning to court! They visited the Country Courthouse to debate their opinions! Look out, 6th-graders get pretty passionate about their ideas! What a great way to apply and make what they have been learning about writing memorable!

Read Across America might have been a few weeks ago! However, it is never too late to celebrate our students' growing as readers! Ms. Tennant's classes dug into their books!

Who's classroom has these unique small pieces of art decorating her walls?

Mrs. Lynn's Homeroom takes time to reflect and identify emotions. Whew, in life, there are a lot of emotions flying every which way. Being able to identify the emotions we experience is the first step in coping with them.

Whatcha Reading Wednesday!
Mrs. Eckert's Homeroom is digging into their books! The variety of books you see our students reading is exciting. There is a book for every interest and reader.
What are you reading?

Thank you to Dylan @dylan.delay.54 and Shane for hanging out at WMS last week. They are MSU practicum students participating in the Rural Practicum Program through MSU. We appreciate their enthusiasm and passion for teaching. Special thanks to Mrs. Lensegrav and Mrs. Hellman for hosting them. Big shout out to Dr. Marcie Reuer, who helps make it possible for the MSU students to come! Thank you MSU for your continued support of young educators.
