Teen of the Quarter: Applications for Teen of the Quarter are available in the principal’s office for juniors and seniors. Applicants will be judged on the following achievements: Character, Leadership, Service, Citizenship, and Scholarship. The applications need to be signed by 2 teachers and attach a wallet size photo. Two applicant’s will be selected. If you are selected you will receive a commemorative coin, and $100.00 Savings Bond. Deadline for applications are Wednesday 2/1/19 at 3:30 PM.
Juniors and Seniors: The following college reps will be visiting DCHS this week. MSU-Billings will be here on Tuesday, January 29th at 10 am, and Dakota College at Bottineau, ND will be here on Wednesday, January 30th at 1 pm. If you would like to visit with either of these reps, please make arrangements with your classroom teacher.
DCHS Drama: Interested in being a part of an outrageous comedy this spring? Attend a movie in the library after school on Monday (Jan. 28), then audition for the play on Wednesday or Thursday from 3:30-5pm in Mrs. Tuma's room (C-210). You only have to bring yourself, but bringing a friend is even better!
FCCLA: Project work days are coming up!! Please get a list of things you need to do to prepare for competition.
ALL DCHS STUDENTS: The NHS is having a blanket drive. If you have any gently used (CLEAN) blankets, please bring them and put them in the box in front of the main office. Smaller blankets will be used by the Glendive Vet Clinic for animals and the larger blankets will be donated to some of the assisted living places around town for the elderly. THANKS!!
